Looking to do some hard core training during the winter? Get some holds for the house. It’s time to start planning your winter training regimen so find a suitable place to put your holds. I have a solid concrete beam that cuts across the halway, this structural beam is solid and putting two small bolts in it will make no difference to its strength making it ideal for my situation. If you are not so lucky try things such as solid door frames, the space under the stairs, or even put a few holds in your garage.
While you are thinking of where to put your holds, take a moment to check out the E-Grips Training system. These holds are pentagonal or hexagonal (depending on the system you chose)holds offering specific training to your requirements. For example: Weak crimps? Try the System Crimp. This hold has 5 sides of varying crimpage and an inset crimpzone for some ugly crimp training.
Perhaps your sloper hanging is rubbish. Train it with the System Sloper/Pocket a hexagonal, slopey beast with pockets. You can train your pocketing skills. Maybe you just want to work overall strength. Well that’s good you can choose the System Large. This has a large flat outside facing hold while sporting a couple of wide inner slots for varying your grip style.
The E-Grip System also supports training you feet with a pack of five varied holds, you will have access to an extensive range of footery training so you will have no excuse to be in tip top climbing shape come spring.
