The Glasgow Climbing centre unveiled a part of the new wall a few days ago, while they tested it and fitted new holds.
On first look it looks like it will be a crimp all wood number with impossibly small holds. Almost every square inch of the thing is populated with teeny, tiny rectangles barely an inch deep. A little closer inspection reveals that these are actually Beastmaker holds and that many are shaped to work your
crimps and pinches. The wall is set at what looks like a 45 degree angle and the holds cover the whole board which is roughly 7ft wide and 10ft tall.
It’s sure to be an absolute monster maker working your feet and hands. I can’t wait until it open so I can get to work.
